It's Cross Country time!

First meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 16 in Room 218 at 3:30; first practice is Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 4:00 on the track.
We will practice Mon-Thurs, from 4-5:45; meet on the track for warmups and instructions. We will run the streets of Fountain City: Greenwood and Adair Cemeteries, Beverly Acres, Harrill Hills, the Gresham Middle School loop, Mountain Crest, and all points in between. We'll also run the courses at Cherokee Blvd and Victor Ashe Park prior to racing on them.

Transportation to away practices and meets is always an issue; we must rely on our older runners/drivers and parents to get us where we need to be. I cannot by law transport students in my vehicle. Please let me know if you're willing, able, and available to help. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
Here at the beginning of the summer are next season's results made!
You need to be out there now: logging miles, working on speed and endurance, eating right, drinking massive quantities of water, and getting enough rest so that when the season starts you are ready to go!
Remember: our first organized summer practice is on Friday, July 29; this gives us a whopping week of practices before school starts. That's not enough time if you haven't prepared well through the summer.

So do it!
